AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Assam Rifles organised Inter Block Football Tournament at Udaipur between 11 -17 Jun 19 amongst eight block teams of Gomati district. The teams played with each other with extreme enthusiasm and zeal in the league matches and semi finals resulting in teams of Amarpur block and Tepania block qualifying for the Finals.

The Final match was conducted on 17 Jun19   between Amarpur block and Tepania block at Udaipur College ground in  which  Tepania block team won by a score of 2-1. Mr Pranjit Roy, Minister of agriculture, tourism and transport was the chief guest for the finals.

The players got an opportunity to showcase their sporting talent . The event was a great success leading to a stronger bond and trust of locals towards the Assam Rifles.
