AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has conducted a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed about various important issues related to Tripura.
One of the chief issues of discussion was “Rose Valley Chit fund and other chit fund scam’s investigation”. In the status it has been said that on May 22nd, Home Dept has taken up with DoPT for taking up investigation against chit fund agencies which were culminated in Tripura up to 2012.
The delegations also discussed vividly on the of issues ADC Area development, Border fencing, and various issues for strengthening law and order in Tripura.
During this meeting, other issues pertaining to security related expenditure, deployment of a Tripura State Rifles battalion outside the state, passing of Tripura Industries (Facilitation) Bill, 2018 etc. were also discussed, said an official.
Amit Shah has reportedly assured that all issues shall be positively responded to in best interests of Tripura.
The Indo-Bangla border fencing at the Dhalai District, Sepahijala Dist brought under notice.
