AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has made a courtesy visit to Union Defence Minister Rajnath singh in New Delhi today.

Reportedly, CM on behalf of 37 lakh people of Tripura,  congratulated Rajnath Singh as the new Defence Minister.

Rajnath Singh is an Indian politician belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party who currently serves as the Defence Minister of India. He has previously served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and as a Cabinet Minister in the Vajpayee Government. He was previously also the Home Minister in the First Modi Ministry.

The Chief Minister of Tripura also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah today, discussed on crucial issues.
