Tripura seeks 2000 crores SDRF fund for flood management for 2020-25

AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): Govt of Tripura has sought Rs. 2000 crores of funds for ‘State Disaster Response Fund’ (SDRF) for 5 years project so that Govt can bring a permanent solution under disaster management in that time.
The demand was placed by the Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb during his Delhi visit and meeting Ministers, officials. In NITI Aayog meeting also CM said the same.
In a Govt press release it has been said that CM has sought 400 crores of SDRF fund for next 5 years totaling 2000 crores.
