AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): Though Prime Minister Narendra Modi called NRI as India’s ambassadors who have established themselves at the world-stage by proving capacity of their country, Communist leader, Tripura former CM Manik Sarkar on Sunday commented that it is important for Indians to stay in India.
Sarkar was addressing in a felicitation programme organized for TBSE rankers when he said so.
According to Sarkar, 3 things are important to be good human being as an Indian and these qualities are 1) Not to harm others, 2) To help others, 3) To love own country.
While referring “loving own country”, Sarkar said, loving country means loving the people regardless religious and cast issues and asserted that one has to live in India and work from here.
