AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, June 16 (TIWN): Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani will be visiting Tripura soon, said Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb after meeting her at New Delhi.
CM said, the Minister is enthusiastic over developing textile industry in Tripura.
“It was wonderful to meet Smriti Irani ji today.She has assured full support for development of textile sector in Tripura. She will be visiting our state in this regard soon. Smritiji has also ensured effective implementation of all Women and Child Development Ministry related projects in Tripura”, said CM.
Tripura has tremendous talent to grow as handloom industry, whereas earlier the Chief Minister suggested to add more designs in handloom products which may boost the marketing and “quality” of Tripura handloom is unquestionable.
