AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Day after Anupam Paul, former journalist of local TV channel “Headlines Tripura” was arrested and reportedly produced in Delhi court for transit remand on yesterday for interrogation and investigation into the case, has brought in Agartala today.

The former TV channel reporter was arrested at Delhi for spreading news, contents on CM’s family issue on April 2018. He also shared various news which claimed Chief Minister is facing a divorce case filed by his wife. 

However, soon a case was filed against Anupam Paul on April 26 by his former Editor Pranab Sarkar claiming that Anupam never was his employee, but Paul then uploaded in social media all evidences to prove how much he was involved with “Headlines Tripura”.

But Anupam remained absconding till he was caught by police at Delhi.

On May 7, 2019 police lodged case against Anupam Paul and finally he was arrested at Delhi on June 13 and brought in Agartala today.
