AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): CPI-M has requested Chief Minister Biplab Deb to control ruling party hooligans who are engaged in money extortions.

In Jirania, Gandacherra various attacked have taken place centering money extortion. CPI-M earlier also placed the same demand to Chief Minister through opposition leader Manik Sarkar.

The money extortion under the BJP is not a new thing that it started after Lok Sabha Election, but it was exposed many times in social media how in the name of various programmes roadway goons threaten each vehicle passing to give certain amount of donation or they attack directly.

But during CPI-M era, BJP promised to stop all types of donation system including Govt employees party backed units, but a section of criminals in the party even though enjoying public money by money extortions but Govt’s image is getting destroyed with increasing public resentment.
