AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): After 1.5 year of the BJP Govt in Tripura, when Rose Valley issue was frozen and pre-poll promise of BJP to investigate Rose Valley chit fund case seemed as a fake promise, as soon as Lok Sabha Election is now ended with a massive victory for the BJP, the BJP led State Govt has signaled massive CBI bashing in the scam of Rose Valley.
BJP party here in Tripura has told reporters about Govt’s move for Rose Valley chitfund case’s probe.
With the announcement, whether Tripura politics is taking a turn like Bengal politics where TMC top leaders were haunted due to Sarada, Narada like chit fund cases, few of them were sent to jail and few joined BJP, it has triggered questions.
Addressing in a press conference today, BJP spokesperson Ashok Sinha said, Govt of Tripura on 22nd May Secretary of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions requested for proper investigation which has allegedly mounted a scam of 98 crores.
Ashok Sinha said, this is a very important letter which will surely bring justice to the victims of Rose Valley.
“Earlier, various protests were held demanding chit fund investigation but the then Communist Govt didn’t take any action”, Sinha said.
