AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN): Tripura’s former Health Minister Sudip Barman has greeted the state on the occasion of ‘Eid-ul-Fitr’ and ‘World Environment Day’.
He said, let the Eid bring unity, boost brotherhood and lead peace.
“Nature is the art of God. Plant trees, save nature, save the world. Happy World Environment Day”, greeted Barman for World Environment Day.
It can be noted here that Eid celebration has started in Tripura and a large number of devotees were observed offering namaz (prayer) in Gedumia Masjid, Chandrapur masjid and all other masjid across the state.
Children’s, youth and old all were observed offering prayer in the masjid. Thousand of joyful Muslims, many of them wearing the conventional kurta-pyjamas, thronged various Masjids to offer Eid prayers, marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
