Around 2000 homeless in Tripura due to rain, thunderstorm

AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): Due to rain and thunderstorm around 2000 people are homeless in Tripura, took shelter in relief camps.
Govt has released relief funds and more funds to be released with the situations.
Worst affected areas in Tripura are West, South and Sepahijala Districts. Houses’ damage reports have also come.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Saturday has talked to District Magistrates and expressed concerned about the rain and storm hit state.
The Chief Minister has expressed concerns about the situation and asked the District heads to manage all necessary assistances for the affected people.
Flood alerts are going on in Tripura and other Northeast states.
