TIWN June 4, 2019

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, June 4 (TIWN): Addressing media on Monday at the Civil Secretariat, Tripura Law Minister Ratanlal Nath has said that in last 1 year, 5 months at least 1474 industries have been started in Tripura.
Nath said, these industries are small and medium scale industries.
“Due to the establishment of so many industries at least 3000 youths have gotten jobs. In coming days more industries will come. All happened in the existing Govt’s era”, said Ratanlal Nath.
The unemployment problem has been a major problem in Tripura. Chronologically Tripura has remained in top position in unemployment rate among all the states.
However, Ratan Lal’s claims of 3000 Jobs unverified, seems exaggerated as high employment of 30.2% prevailing in Tripura as per CMIE data on May’2019.
