AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): IPFT-Tipraha on Sunday asked BJP-IPFT Govt to seriously focus on Tipraland if his pre-poll promise was not fake.

IPFT-Tipraha leaders Binay Debbarma and Budhu Debbarma also announced if their demands are not fulfilled, they will go in massive protest in coming days.

"It was said as soon as IPFT will come in power, Tipraland will be given. We now demand that there should be a decision about Tipraland issue", Budhu Debbarma said. 

“All hilly areas’ people in Tripura will jointly protest in demand of Tipraland as this is the only option remained for the indigenous people to save their identity”, said Budhu Debbarma. 

Tipraland is the name of a proposed state in India. The formation of "Tipraland", a state within the TTAADC, under articles 2 and 3 of the Indian Constitution is demanded by a political party called the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura as one of their political agenda.
