AGARTALA, May 11 (TIWN): With a major shame for Tripura’s electoral history under Chief Minister Biplab Deb, under Election Commission’s order a fresh re-polling in 168 polling stations will be conducted tomorrow.
CEO Sriram Taranikanti said that the polling will be started from 7 am and to be continued till 5 pm. Total numbers of voters are 1,41,255.
“We will set all managements for free and fair repolling on Sunday. We already have central forces in our state. Strict observations will be kept as we have now less numbers of booths”, said the CEO.
The re-polling is being conducted for the West Tripura constituency held on 11th April. BJP stopped lakhs of voters from casting votes.
