AGARTALA, March 28 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has staged a massive protest at West Tripura Police Station following the brutal attack on Congress West Tripura MP candidate Subal Bhowmik.

The attack took place on Bhowmik when he was in an election campaigning. Congress staged protest on the road, gheraoed West Agartala Police Station. The attack was held as Subal Bhowmik is the candidate of Congress fighting against Crime Queen Pratima Bhowmik. She is also sponsoring attacks against MP Sankar Prasad Dutta, the CPI-M candidate.
