AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): When massive controversies erupted back in 2018 after Biplab Deb asked unemployed youths to buy cows, he promised that he himself is going to buy cows and the milk the cows will give, he along with his family will drink them.
However, after four months of promise, Biplab Deb has not taken initiative for it.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb on November 5, 2018 while addressing media at Agartala announced that he will start domesticating cows at CM's official residence and his whole family will consume milk from it.
"Today I am announcing that I will start domestication of cows at the CM residence along with my family and will consume its milk. This will also inspire people of Tripura to do the same and would help fight malnutrition", he said which also had become a national news.
