20 crores embezzlement in PF Pension, 14 lakhs employees in tension, petition filed

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Feb 15 (TIWN): Huge numbers of provident fund holders and pensioners are undergoing tensions as their pensions’ and provident funds have been invested in such corporate sectors which are now undergoing huge debts.
As a result 14 lakhs employees may be deprive of the deserved money in retirement time. 15 to 20 crores of may be lost due to this step of the Govt.
Thus, petitions have been filed by various institutions.
The investment was done at IL&FC whose 40% bonds are by pensions and provident funds, led more tensions.
At least 10 Govt and Private institutions have filed petition directly. In this list MMTC, Indian Oil, SIDCO, HADCO, IDBI, SBI, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh Electricity Board, Asian Paints etc.
