AGARTALA, Feb 13 (TIWN): Center of Agartala youngster’s heart Rupashi Cinema Hall (Rupasi multiplex) has been shutdown under Govt order due to some paper and technical issues.

Also the license of the theatre has been cancelled.

It has been known that on December 28, 2016 the cinema hall got the license, whereas on 5th April 2018 the authority appealed for the renew of the license.

From Govt side, a total review of the complex was done and the report which was given by the Govt on 17th May, 2018 was put with an objection from the Fire Dept.

Then the owner of the cinema hall was called and asked to submit No-Objection after repairing the hall. January 22 was the last date of submission, but as Rupasi Multiplex couldn’t submit those papers, thus the license was cancelled.
