AGARTALA, Feb 8 (TIWN): Tripura Royal scion Pradyot Manikya has pinched BJP Govt for its double role to Tripura leaders.
PM Modi tomorrow to unveil King Bir Bikram Manikya’s statue at Agartala Airport ahead of Lok Sabha election, whereas the Royal family members including Rajmata, Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Manikya left uninvited.
Addressing media, Pradyot Manikya at the Airport said, they (BJP Govt) treats my grandfather (Bir Bikram) and me in separate manners, what can we do ?
BJP Govt brought sedition charges against Pradyot Manikya and 3 other Tiprasa leaders after they protested against citizenship bill, whereas at the same time Pradyot Manikya’s grandfather King Bir Bikram to be worshipped.
