AGARTALA, Feb 3 (TIWN): A giant truck has smashed a woman in the morning at Motor Stand in Agartala, when she was on the way to hospital.

According to the primary information the woman named Lahari Banik was going to IGM hospital when the truck hit her in heavy speed.

Half of her body was smashed under the wheelers of the truck.

The driver is now absconding whereas police have detained the truck. Her body has sent for post mortem.
