AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): CPI-M backed employees organization ‘Tripura Karmachari Samannoy Committee’ has protested against the brutal murder of Sukhu Gour.

At the same time, the agitators have demanded proper security for the family members of Shukhu Gour.

The agitators said, “Sukhu Gour was the only earning person in the family. He was to continue the job for more 10 years. The miscreants demanded Rs. 5,000 from him for the Diwali. As he could not fulfil the demand thus he was killed so brutally”.

Sukhu Gour, who had died on 18th January 2019 after receiving grievous injury on 7th November 2018 after BJP miscreants had set a fire cracker on his head and out of infection after two months long suffering he passed away on January 18.

Sukhu Gour’s wife said that after the incident the miscreants left him in home and didn’t inform anybody. On the next the family came to know and after two days, he was hospitalized.

From GB hospital after 12 days, he was released and he started going to office in critical condition but one day after returning from office, he felt very weak and anyhow little lunch he did but after that his body started shivering. Immediately he was taken to GB hospital but doctors declared him dead.

The incident took place at Durjoynagar area near Airport PS on November 7 after one local Sukhu Gour of Durjoynagar denied to donate for Kali puja donation.
