AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): CPI-M once again protesting against citizenship bill said that except BJP all political parties have opposed citizenship bill including TRS and Shiv Sena.
Holding a press conference on behalf of GMP, CPI-M MP Jitendra Chaudhury has given a message to the Central Govt that the bill should not be implemented in Northeast.
The MP said, already Northeast states had a huge demographic change earlier but if the problem of migration is imposed here again various problems including unemployment problems to be increased further.
Jitendra Chaudhury also slammed the Modi Govt for stretching this controversial bill juts ahead of Lok Sabha election followed by an urgent BAC meeting saying BJP has chosen the issue as political trump card when no other trick is influencing public.
