AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): On the occasion of 41st Kokborok Diwas, all school children of senior classes of the capital city Agartala taken to Town Hall in a Govt organized programme attended by Education Minister Ratan lal Nath, Minister NC Debbarma, Minister Mebar Kumar Jamatia and others.

With a shocking outcome, it has been known that the students were served with pork meat which have been eaten by many Muslim students also.

Pork is forbidden for Muslims according to the religious rules. Resented Muslim families, guardians of the students have come in massive protest, demanded proper investigation.

They also sought Education Minister Ratan lal Nath’s statement in this regard, saying in previous days no such incident took place.

The Muslims raised question, if beef was served in that programme the riot would have come, but as Muslims are minority it has been done.
