AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Tripura artist Manabendra Roy died pathetically at Dimapur of Nagaland.

Manbendra Roy was visiting Nagaland with his drama-artists’ team.

The team members said, when they were on the way to hotel, suddenly one dunk driver hit Roy from behind and injured critically.

He was immediately hospitalized but on last night he passed away.

The body was returned to state today. Huge numbers of artists, students gathered to see Roy’s dead body.

Nagaland police have immediately arrested the driver.
