AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Continuation of alliance with BJP is now turning heavy upon IPFT Ministers and leaders in Tripura.

Revenue Minister NC Debbarma, who is also the President of IPFT faced attacks by his party activists at Dasharam Bari on Tuesday.

A group of Tiprasa  people, who are active members of IPFT gheraoed NC Debbarma’s vehicle and started slamming him with harsh words.

According to the agitators, NC Debbarma is silent on the Police brutality shown at Jirania which left 5 youths targeted by bullet.

Also NC Debbarma is silent over Citizenship Bill issue. With all such allegations, the gherao was staged and later TSR jawans had saved NC Debbarma from the agitators.
