Govt submits ‘Action take report’ on religious structures in High Court

AGARTALA, Dec 22 (TIWN): State Govt has submitted a report to Tripura High court regarding the bulldozing of various religious centres on Govt land.
The report was a part of Action Taken Report (ATR) in response to a PIL.
The demolition of religious places started by BJP Govt following 2009, Supreme Court order.
There are two types of religious sculptures divided by the Govt. They are : 1) 30 years and more than 30 years old sculptures which will not be bulldozed, 2) Less than 30 years which are being bulldozed.
The next hearing in this case will be after 6 months.
