AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): 21 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 21 Sector organised ten days National Integration Tour for 25 students of Khilpara Boys Orphanage Home, Gomati District to Delhi, Jaipur and Ajmer from 10 Dec 18.
The tour will cover iconic places in Delhi to include India gate, Akshardham temple, Lotus temple, Rashtrapati Bhawan, & in Jaipur ,Raj mandir, Albert Hall museum, Raj Bhawan and Amber fort. During their visit to Ajmer, apart from visiting Dargah Sharif & Pushkar, they would also get to interact with students of Military School, Ajmer.
Interaction with the Hon’ble President of India, Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan and other dignitaries is also planned in the itinerary. It will be unique opportunity for students to see rich cultural heritage of India as also get an exposure to the growth story.
The tour was flagged off by Brig Ashwini Nayyar, Cdr 21 Sect AR on 10 Dec 18. DM West Tripura Shri Sandeep Mahatme, IAS was also present on the occasion.
