AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar’s role as opposition leader has been in slumber yet as when statewide CPI-M activists, leaders are being attacked, killed, from Sarkar there is no concern note yet expressed.

Manik Sarkar is now in Telengana, campaigning for CPI-M, whereas after yesterday’s violence during nomination submission, from Manik Sarkar there is no statement, neither he has rushed to the state.

Sarkar’s slumber would hamper the CPI-M support base in coming days in Lok Sabha Election too as people are afraid to join CPI-M rallies under BJP’s terror.

Across various places attacks took place on yesterday and also at night CPI-M activists were attacked in Udaipur.

Till now, Manik Sarkar’s role as opposition leader has not been satisfactory, when state is undergoing massive violence.

Today, 12 hours strike is going on at Longtarai protesting against Bijoy Borua’s murder.
