AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has once again slammed Kolkata people saying they always mock at Tripura people, question about the standard of people here.

"Kolkata people always think us as Nichu-Sreni (low class people) and keep on mocking at our everything. Many times, I felt very sad when same thing happened with me, after I landed in Kolkata". 

"I felt very insulted when after reaching in Kolkata we were called as "Bangallya". They mocked at us, but now things are changing which the previous CPI-M Govt could not do. Our neighboring countries are unable to compete with us and there is no doubt that we will make a model state in Tripura in next 3 years", CM added. 

Earlier on August 14, 2018 while addressing in a local club, Biplab Deb said that Kolkata people always think Tripura people as inferior to them and they are superior but it's not right, rather "We (Tripura People) know better than them (Kolkata People)".
