AGARTALA, Nov 6 (TIWN): Chaos hit Battala-Nagerjala route as auto drivers had developed a clash with traffic police after certain rules were imposed upon them.
Police asked the auto drivers to follow the rules properly and not to break any line. The auto drivers were asked by Govt before many years to avoid the direct entry in Battala-auto-stand and not to come via under the flyover. The autos are supposed to come in proper way by moving via the Battala area.
Due to Kali puja already gatherings had hit the city life but when asked to follow proper rules, the auto drivers came heavily upon the traffic men.
To control the anger of the auto drivers and to fixed the traffic jam by convincing auto drivers to come around Battala route it took a huge time caused more traffic jam in that area.
