The Congress activists have burnt Modi's effigy in a dramatic way after making deadbody of PM Modi in Hindu-funeral process style. After that the effigy was burnt. The Congress activists also cried over Modi's death, few screamed with fake tears. Main purpose of the protest was to condemn petrol, diesel price hike which is leading heavy commodity prices nation-wide. At the same time, BJP Govt's biggest ever alleged scam of Rafale deal which has been exposed almost fully is another stand of the protest. Govt of India’s biggest ever alleged scam under Defence Ministry at the cost of Rs. 58,000 crores ‘Rafale Deal’ scam has strengthen opposition Congress's base ahead of Lok Sabha Election.
The Rafale-scam was exposed by Rahul Gandhi in the Parliament and certain questions were asked regarding the Rafale-deal with French Govt, but till day the Defence Minister couldn’t clarify the Rafale-deal related questions and recently French has also punctured Modi Govt's image further in this scam after former French President François Hollande said that Dassault Aviation was given no choice but to partner with Anil Ambani-led Reliance Defence for the offset clause in the Rafale fighter jet deal.
Reacting over this news, Defence ministry of India spoksperson tweeted "The report referring to fmr French president Mr. Hollande's statement that GOI insisted upon a particular firm as offset partner for the Dassault Aviation in Rafale is being verified. It is reiterated that neither GoI nor French Govt had any say in the commercial decision."
