AGARTALA, Sep 17 (TIWN): With funny glimpses, it was seen that when Hindu devotees are worshiping Lord Viswakarma, who is known as the symbol of architect, BMS have claimed, "It's not Viswakarma Puja but it's Viswakarma Jayanti".

However, BMS and BJP activists are happy that both Viswakarma and Modi's birthdays are in same date and "both are great persons". 

BJP backed BMS activists have celebrated National Labour Day as on the day of Viswakarma Puja.

The BMS leaders here said, it’s Viswakarma-Jayanti ! He was the architect of world !

It can be recalled that Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya said in 2016 the Centre had decided to celebrate Vishwakarma Day as National Labour Day on September 17 every year, to remember his contributions for the working class. 

On the other side, on the occasion of PM Modi’s birthday BJP also organized many programmes. Chief Minister Biplab Deb has participated in Swachh Bhrat Abhiyan at his own constituency.
