AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): Ex-CM Manik Sarkar on Wednesday in a press conference has alleged that due to fake pre-poll promises, BJP is doing all violence, by not allowing oppositions to contest the poll.

Manik Sarkar further asked BJP, why they are so afraid , when just few months ago they won the election with massive victory ?

“Face the election as just before 6 months you won with major votes, If you lose, then also take a lesson from it, rectify yourself. But if you don’t do anything and don’t allow people to stand in election, how democracy will exist ?”, Sarkar added.

Sarkar said on the violence ongoing under BJP ruling in Tripura.

“With various fake promises, BJP came in power. Now they know they can’t fulfill anything and thus doing all these”, Sarkar told media.
