AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Sunday while addressing in a programme conducted by Social Welfare Dept said, Tripura's voters have done 'Karishma' (magic) which surprised the whole country and the world on March 3.

"People were thinking how in a short time a party performed so well. Tripura voters have proven themselves in a different way. The soil of Tripura is really different", he said.

"People were eagerly waiting for Election result and finally on March 3rd they got freedom (Azaadi) from sufferings", CM said.

CM sought mothers' (women's) support before he will go in the battle-field (election). "Before leaving for a war, a king is blessed by his mother and thus his winning is assured. I know, mothers blessings will be with me and thus, I will never be defeated", CM said.
