AGARTALA, Sep 1 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Saturday while addressing in Sukanta Academy in prize distribution programme said, he is happy to be in Politics but not being a Doctor, even though his aim-in-life in childhood he thought as a Doctor.
CM further called the students to raise hands who want to become Chief Minister in future. At first nobody raised hands, later he saw three students raised hands including a girl student led CM to compare her with Goddess Kali wishing her for a better future.
“In my Childhood when people asked me what I want to be in life, I answered them that I will be a Doctor. However, later I understood that actually my Parents wanted me to be a doctor, not me”, CM said.
CM further claimed when degree takes four years, he became CM in two and half years, without any political background.
“Like me many more young Chief Ministers are in India now. That means, under PM Modi the meaning of politics is getting a change”, he said.
“Doctors don’t run the state and for that a Doctor has to go to the Health Minister. So, it’s politician who rule the country. Once you shine in Politics, you will feel Dunia-Muthhi-Mai (World in your own hands)”, CM said adding all can not shine in politics and also all can’t become CM.
