UDAIPUR, Aug 3 (TIWN): A colouful celebration of Independence Day has been planned for Gomati District this year.

A meeting was conducted by DM Tarun Kanti Debnath, Udaipur SDM Subashish Banerjee, Social activist Jiten Majumder and other dignitaries. 

Udaipur Press Club and Neheru Yuva Kendra representatives were also present on that occasion.

This year, for the first time District level tableaus will be organized at there.

The Chief Minister will also be invited on that occasion as there will be an attractive boating competition at the Jagannath Bari lake.
