AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): Tripura High Court's former Chief Justice Dipak Gupta has arrived in two days long visit in Tripura. Gupta who is now appointed as Supreme Court Justice while addressing at High Court Bar said, “Role of High Court is very important in the Democracyâ€.
“Rule of law is very important aspect for a better society and High Court has always been playing a major role to set the Rule-of-Law. Indeed High Court enforces the Rule of Law......”, Dipak Gupta said.
The Justice also appreciated the role of Bar in High Court, said “It’s like a family”.
Deepak Gupta is a judge of the Supreme Court of India and former Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court and Chhattisgarh High Court. He has also served as a judge at the Himachal Pradesh High Court, serving as the head of its green bench.
