AGARTALA, July 26 (TIWN): Tripura’s veteran journalist Satyendra Chakraborty passed away on Thursday morning at his own house.
Chakraborty was suffering from liver cancer since around two years. He died at the age of 69.
Satyendra Chakraborty had vast experience of working in national newspapers as “Alokpaat”, “Manoroma”. In state he was connected with three newspapers as “Simanta Patrika”, “Ganadoot”, “Gana Sambad”.
He also served as the Secretary of Agartala Press club for long.
Journalists have paid floral tribute to Satyendra Chakraborty at Agartala Press Club.
