AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): The auto drivers in Agartala have set plans to flop Ola, Uber business in Tripura which can hit their Railway Passenger and Airport Passengers business heavily in coming days.

Auto drivers have said, if Ola and Uber are handed over to each and everyone who have private vehicles then state will see attacks upon them (Ola, Uber businessmen). 

“If they use commercial vehicle for which they have to pay around Rs. 25,000 just for only license then it’s okay but they have to come in compromise with us. Also we will stop the Govt if we are not given first priority”, they said.

However, what did they mean by 'compromise' it's not clear. 

“In other states it has been seen if anybody has private car he is getting Ola, Uber license and if same thing happens in Tripura, where will we go ? We need long distance passengers from Railway / Airports….. if not then one by one Ola, Uber will be burnt…we don't want Kolkata's yellow taxi drivers fate for us”, the auto drivers told few media persons without identifying them as media persons.

It may be mentioned, earlier when train started in Tripura stone pelting was reported in running trains when bus and other business downed.
