AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): Tripura Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma has announced on the first day of state Assembly that total four numbers of B.Ed Colleges will be established in Tripura in coming days.
Out of those four B.Ed Colleges, two will be dedicated for only girl students and rest will be combined.
Under the 25 years of CPI-M regime, govt has only created 2 B.Ed colleges in whole Tripura and before 2010 the Colleges were booked for the employees only, but not fresher.
Observing the massive teachers crisis in Tripura, state govt has taken the decision to open more numbers of B.Ed colleges so that in next two years more teachers can be recruited without compromising with quality-education.
