Belonia, Sept 8 (TIWN): 3 day South Tripura District Level Science fair is inaugurated today at 11.30 by Sabhadhipati Sri Himanshu Roy. Chief Guest MLA Sri Basudev Majumder at Belonia Town Hall. District Magistrate Debasish Basu,IAS, Hrishyamukh Chairman Sri Asish Dutta ,BC Nagar Chairman Sri Nirmal Bhowmik ,Rajnagar Chairperson Smt Ratna rani Das was also attended as Special guest. Municiplitity Chairperson Dipankar Sen was in chair.

Science fair at Belonia inspired young innovators. “Urge for science  and creativity among young minds are very important for innovation” – expressed by most of the guests. Scientific models and exhibits of students of classes 6 to 10 will be selected at the district-level exhibitions are on display at the State-level fair. Exhibits selected at the State-level qualify for the national-level contest onwards.
