AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): Tripura Congress Chief Birjit Sinha on Wednesday told media, the joining drive has been kicked off in Tripura Congress Bhawan and such joining programmes will be conducted continuously from now.

"We welcome them in our Congress family. In the joining programme total 135 persons from 35 families have attended", Sinha said at Congress Bhawan. 

At Suryamaninagar total 10 youths have joined and also at the afternoon more 100 families will join Congress, said the Congress President. 

After 6.30 more 110 families will join in the party, he added. 

Congress State President also criticized BJP alleging for creating unrest across the state after the election but Congress helped the common and attacked people every time and as a result they joined Congress. 

"We have been defeated in the last election that is true but now BJP's real face is coming out. How they made such a cruel decision to demolish party offices ? Congress is taking legal actions against the BJP Govt", Birjit Sinha told media.
