AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Once again tragic death of a TSECL helper staff was repeated here in Tripura after he was electrocuted during a repairing work.
The deceased has been identified as Paritosh Pal (45), S/O- Girendra Pal resident of Narafaiyeng BC Para was working as helper staff of TSECL at Santir Bazar.
Recently, demands had raised regarding the safety of TSECL staffs and helpers.
Such contractual staffs families do not get anything from the govt after their deaths, even though a pay structure was in demand for a long time.
Various workers are working as ‘helpers’ of TSECL employees. Tripura Bidyut Utpadok Sramik Sangha’ demanded to appoint them with proper designations, but before the govt could give any reply on that one more death has hit the reality.
