AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): Tensions have gripped the 10323 teachers as the ad-hoc’s tenure is going to end soon.
Even though in SC's verdict on March 29, 2017 it was clearly said, "No further appeal will be accepted in this case", but Tripura Govt is going to Supreme Court again. The BJP led state Govt has decided to knock the Supreme Court against Supreme Court's verdict.
The Govt will appeal to extend the ad-hoc contract of the teachers for more two years issuing the ongoing teachers crisis across state schools.
However, whether Supreme Court will accept the plea or not, it's to be seen but June 30th is the last date of 10323 teachers job career legally.
The 10323 teachers who were terminated with Supreme Court’s final verdict are going to lose their jobs after 30th June 2018 as after 31st December their jobs were increased on ad-hoc basis for more 6 months but that tenure also is going to end on June 30th. 10,323 teachers' jobs were first cancelled by Tripura High Court in 2014 on May 7 after spotting irregularities in the recruitment process, before the issue was taken to Supreme Court by the the CPI-M Govt.
