AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): When state govt is going to appeal in the Supreme Court to save 10323 teachers jobs and also trying to relax education qualification in case of eligibility of the candidates, Tripura’s Retired teachers are raising demands to appoint them on contract basis to mitigate the teachers crisis.
Via TIWN, some of the retired teachers have sent a message to the chief minister to appoint retired teachers in state schools so that after June month the teachers crisis are not felt so much.
A teacher said, “When there are many qualified retired teachers, the state govt may appoint us on contract. In that way the quality of education will be maintained and also teachers crisis will not be felt”.
On the other side the State Govt has decided to knock the Supreme Court against Supreme Court's verdict. The Govt will appeal to extend the ad-hoc contract of the teachers for more two years issuing the ongoing teachers crisis across state schools.
