AGARTALA, May 14 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Deputy Chief Minister cum Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma today slammed the former CPI-M Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha accusing him for making the treasury empty.

Media-shy Jishnu Debbarma was questioned by state media persons after he completed his ‘Janata Durbar’ on Monday regarding delayed issues of the state under the BJP govt.

The Minister green-signaled to the new Recruitment Policy, 7^th Pay Commission and other issues, but he couldn’t give any particular date for the final announcement of the delayed projects in govt's hands.

The Deputy CM also said, as per ratio, the govt job employees are highest in number here in Tripura. The previous govt gave too many jobs and kept them on ‘fixed’ basis. 

“How can a government offers job to a person on fixed scale at regular basis ? In this way the things were haphazard under the previous govt”, Jishnu Debbarma added. 

Being asked by media on such issues as he is the "Finance Minister", Jishnu Debbarma said, “I may be the Finance Minister but the previous Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha made my Treasury empty”.
