AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): Tripura Congress leader Gopal Roy has hit the Chief Minsiter Biplab Deb for appointing one after one OSDs, instead of focusing on state’s employment generations. “The previous Govt took an interview and the new Govt has taken decision for review the recruitment process. However, there is no problem with the review as it will make the things transparent but when the youths' jobs are delaying, on the other side, at the Chief Minister’s office one after one OSDs are being appointed from outside and anywhere. Even journalists are getting OSD jobs at Rs. 75,000 per months”, Gopal Roy said.

 “One after one OSDs are being appointed as if it’s not a Chief Minster’s office but a dumping ground. From outside officers, journalists are coming here to become the Chief Minister Biplab Deb's OSD at Rs.70,000 to 75,000 of salaries", Roy added. 

"Not only this, one Minister was shifted from his room on yesterday to allocate place to the new OSD Bijoy Chibbar. Now question raises, what is the priority for the Govt ? To evict or to abeyance ? The Minister or a Good Friend ?”, the Congress leader said. 

“Instead of working in favour of the people, the govt is working against the will of the public”, Gopal Roy said.

The first OSD was Dilip Ray. Dilip Ray’s selection as TPS officer was a highly questionable because during 1998. TPSC (Tripura Public Service Commission) under the Chairmanship of Suprasanna Chakraborty distributed TCS, TPS posts to all CPI-M family candidates.

Then the next OSD was Sanjay Mishra, who has been a journalist from outside. 

Former Secretary Bijoy Kumar Chibbar IAS (Manipur- Tripura ) (retired)  has been appointed as Special Advisor to Chief Minister Shri Biplab Deb to help him in administrative functioning on yesterday. 

Since Biplab Deb in power he changed his OSD three times at least and nobody knows  right how many OSDs the Chief Minister has now.
