AGARTALA, May 11 (TIWN): Rs. 50 crores have been sectioned for Udaipur located Matabari temple’s development, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has announced.
“Till day 90 % funds has been given by the central govt. But the previous govt led by Manik Sarkar constantly alleged that central govt is depriving the state. Similar allegations were brought against central govt in Congress era also, whereas in Manmohon Singh’s time even 90 % funds were given by the central govt”, he said.
“At our request within two months above 800 crores were sanctioned from PM’s fund. 50 crore were sanctioned for Matabari's development. How can I say that central is depriving ?”, the Chief Minister said.
Tripura Sundari Temple is situated in the ancient Udaipur, about 55 km from Agartala, Tripura believed to be one of the holiest Hindu shrines in this part of the country.
