AGARTALA, May 11 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed that state’s first referral hospital GB hospital has developed more 70 % than before in last two months.
“In one day I can not say, GB hospital has developed 100 %, but the development is huge. Health Minister Sudip Barman three times visited there and 6 to 7 hours long reviews were done by him. If the works were done by the previous govt in such a manner, then the condition of GB hospital would be far better and people shouldn’t go to Chennai for treatment”, the Chief Minister said.
“After BJP Govt came in power, in 2 months the GB Hospital has been developed more 70 %. I would like to request my media friends that they should criticize the govt but as well as praise the govt too", he said.
CM’s claim came after a daily newspaper exposed the long powercut in GB hospital on Wednesday night. CM also asked media to write on this topic.
