AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Massive fire has burnt a house into ashes on the heart of Agartala City. The incident took place at Battala at around 4 pm.

The local police said, at around 4 pm pm the fire incident took place in the house of Pradip Deb at Indira Colony of Dasamighat in Battala.

Immediately two engines of fire brigade rushed to the spot and controlled the fire. But two rooms inside the house were totally burnt.

The cause of the fire at the primary level has been assumed as short circuit.

The family members are undergoing heavy losses, who belong to a needy family.
